While not every plan has every option, here's a few of our most common and popular additions:

Sunrooms

With large windows and situated on the edge of a home, these spaces are perfect for soaking up those warm morning or afternoon rays. They also create a separate place to relax outside your family or great room. 

Many of our models have sunroom options, including some of our most popular floor plans in both single-family and 55+ communities. 

Studies

Since the pandemic, working from home has increased exponentially. Being able to have a dedicated space for concentration and focus is what studies are made for! Even if you end up going back to the office, or don't need it as a workspace at all, these rooms could serve a variety of other purposes.

Sometimes, study/den areas even come standard with the home, as with our popular Eden I & II estate plans. Other plans have flex rooms that could easily serve as a study.

Lofts

Many of our one-story ranch homes offer the option to add a second floor loft. These open areas can also include an extra bedroom and bath. They're a great choice for gatherings and parties, giving you more space to entertain while still remaining connected to the first-floor via the balcony overlook.

Floor plans with optional second floor plans include the popular Grandview and Sassafras II models, as well as all of the estate and cottage homes at our active adult communities, Traditions at Whitehall and the Village of Eastridge.

Deluxe Baths

There's nothing like soaking in the tub after a long day. Extra counter space doesn't hurt, either. Want a big shower instead of a bath? We've got those, too.

Most of our floor plans offer some form of expanded bathroom, usually connected to the owner's suite. The Chadwick and Middleton Reserve in the Town of Whitehall are just two of them.

Finished Basements

Like a loft, finished basement areas make excellent rec spaces - then you can use the unfinished portions for all that storage. Pool tables, video game setups. . .the sky's the limit. You can't beat an extra bathroom, either.

Finished basement options come with most of our floor plans. If you decide to get a ranch home and not opt for the loft, a finished basement is another way to add some space to your future place.

Expanded Garages

Street parking, begone! You might decide you want a little more room in your garage - say, if you have a few cars, or need the extra space otherwise. Luckily, we've got a plethora of garage options as large as 3-car setups, depending on the plan.

In-Law Suites

Family is important. We're here to help you create the best living space possible for you and yours. If you've got a big or multi-generational family with you, an in-law suite is the perfect way to keep you all together while giving everyone the space and independence they desire.
