We purchased a Houston model from Benchmark Builders in 2021. Benchmark worked with us to come up with options to customize our home to our needs. We love the floor plan of the Houston, particularly how the kitchen, morning room, and great room spaces flow together and allow us to host large gatherings easily. We also loved that there was an option for an in-law suite. We currently use it as a playroom for our kids, but have also used it as a bedroom when a family member was recovering from spinal surgery and could not use the stairs at her house. The full porch and style of the Craftsman elevation was exactly the look we were searching for. Instead of being daunting and stressful, the sales and selections process was exciting and fun! We feel that our home was built solid with quality materials and will last a lifetime!

We just closed on our new home with Benchmark Builders. Having previously purchased new construction in the past I can attest that these are the best builders around! Every step of the process was extremely smooth and organized. Communication was amazing! We were always pleasantly surprised in both progress and craftsmanship. Lindsay Shaffer, our sales rep, was highly professional, answering all of our questions at any time throughout the process and even helped us in selecting finishes when we were overwhelmed by the options. We had the opportunity to semi-customize our home and meet with the builders to modify plans. We couldn’t be happier with our new forever home and highly recommend them for your new construction build!

My experience with Benchmark builders was made easy. My sales representative is Karen, and she is amazing. I rarely do reviews, but since I had an exceptional experience, I said to myself “I gotta share this journey”! Finding the right builder for such an huge investment takes some time and lotssss of homework. There are multiple builders that my family and I have visited throughout DE and it ultimately led me to build here. Karen explains everything that is needed to know, she is so patient, and my daughter has told the entire family about her…….hahaha. I am so happy to have been blessed with the opportunity in working with Karen, and I pray she can help many more families like myself to build a place called home;)

My purchasing experience was very special to me. I knew that I’ve always wanted to live in Delaware (New construction) only, but got very overwhelmed with the amount of builders DE offers. I have spent a few years visiting and doing research on all the builders that I found interest in. After a while I said to myself “just pray and ask God where does he want you to be”! Well, that’s what I did and ended up choosing Benchmark Builders. Karen from day one treated me so kind, and although her job is to sell homes, I felt no pressure at all. She is very knowledgeable, patient, and responsive. Although she is special to me as we have shared some time together now, my review is honest! I would say to anyone, PLEASE TAKE A VISIT FOR YOURSELF! It’s free and plus she makes sure to have all the good refreshments for the family, which my daughter loves by the way.
